OnePlus claims to “Never Settle,” the company has generally stuck with the same design for its products since late 2020. Devices from the Never Settler have slightly tinted backs, curved sides, smooth and slightly curved backs, and rectangular camera units since the OnePlus 7T, which gained attention with a circular camera unit (with the exception of the OnePlus 10 Pro). The brand’s Nord collection has also adhered to these broad design principles.

On the bright, 6.7-inch full HD+ flexible AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response rate of 1000 Hz, games and films look fantastic as well. Although at the time of writing, we could only see options for 60 Hz (Standard) and 120 Hz (High) refresh rates, the brand says that it can switch between 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz based on the content being displayed on it. Being a OnePlus, we are confident that a software update will correct the issue. Additionally, the phone has excellent stereo speakers that are a great benefit for gaming and watching TV (it is HDR 10+ certified). It is really simpler to grip in landscape mode due to the straight sides.

Games and movies look wonderful on the vivid, 6.7-inch full HD+ flexible AMOLED display, which has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response rate of 1000 Hz. The brand claims that it can switch between 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz depending on the content being displayed on it, but at the time of writing, we could only find options for 60 Hz and 120 Hz refresh rates. Since this is a OnePlus, we are sure that a firmware update will fix the problem. The phone also boasts amazing stereo speakers that are fantastic for viewing TV and playing games (it is HDR 10+ certified). The straight sides make it much easier to hold in landscape mode.

A 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor are the three cameras on the rear of the OnePlus 10R. The Sony IMX 766 continues to function admirably on this OnePlus handset as it has on several others. We saw decent colors (a little on the brighter side), lots of clarity, and even unexpectedly good low light performance. However, the other two cameras are not on the same level. While the 2.0-megapixel macro shooter fails to produce crisp images, the 8-megapixel ultrawide provides you a wider perspective but the low megapixel count means that details suffer. As long as you stick with the primary sensor, video quality is fairly decent.

Only the 12 GB/256 GB RAM and storage variant of the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition is offered, and it costs Rs 43,999. Retail prices for the Super VOOC Edition are Rs 38,999 for the 8 GB/ 128 GB model and Rs 42,999 for the 12 GB/ 256 GB model. The Super VOOC Edition will compete with the Xiaomi 11T Pro, which has a less noticeable design but offers 120W charging and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, while the Endurance Edition will directly compete with the OnePlus 9RT, which has a Snapdragon 888 and a marginally better ultrawide sensor but lacks fast charging. The OnePlus 10R differs from previous OnePlus flagship models.
