Vivo Y22 – Specifications

The most recent smartphone in the company’s Y-series of smartphones, the Vivo Y22, has been released in Indonesia. The device has a notch display in the water drop style and a MediaTek Helio G85 gaming SoC. The Extended RAM 2.0 feature that it includes enables the internal memory to be increased by up to 2GB via internal storage for improved performance. A 50-megapixel sensor, a dual rear camera arrangement, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging are all included in the Vivo Y22s.

Priced at IDR 2,399,000 (about Rs. 12,900) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model that is now on the market. Additionally, a model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage will be made available soon. The phone is presently available for purchase on Tokopedia and the Indonesian Vivo online store. The Vivo smartphone is available in the colors Metaverse Green, Starlit Blue, and Summer Cyan. The Vivo Y22’s global availability and price have not yet been disclosed in full.

The Funtouch OS 12-powered, dual-SIM (Nano), 6.55-inch full-HD (720 x 1,612) LCD display on the Vivo Y22 runs on Android 12. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 89.67 percent and a maximum brightness of 530 nits. To accommodate the selfie camera, the display has a notch cutout in the shape of a water drop. The MediaTek Helio G85 gaming SoC and up to 6GB of RAM power the new Vivo smartphone. Thanks to Extended RAM 2.0 technology, the RAM may be increased by up to 8GB utilizing extra onboard storage.

The Vivo Y22 has a dual back camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.8 aperture lens for photographs and videos. A 2-megapixel bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens is also part of the camera arrangement. An 8-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens is located at the front of the device for selfies and video calls.

Up to 128GB of inbuilt storage on the Vivo Y22 are expandable using a microSD card (up to 1TB). The Vivo Y22 has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, Glonass, NFC, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C connector as connectivity options. An e-compass, gravity sensor, light sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. For biometric authentication, the phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 5,000mAh battery in the Vivo Y22 supports 18W fast charging. The phone is water and dust resistant according to IP54 standards. It weighs 190g and has measurements of 164.30×76.10×8.38mm.
